Everquest 2 comes with what is refered to as the "Default UI". UI stands for User Interface. It basically controls how all the windows and popup boxes look and work on your screen. SoE designed the game to allow others to write their own User Interfaces.

A must have is EQ2 Maps which adds points of interest to the map by way of little dots on the map that show you who and what are where. The website for EQ2 Maps is here: maps.eq2interface.com/ Click on download on that site and you should be on your way to getting EQ2 Maps.
