SoE is asking if whole Guilds want to Beta. I thought I'd throw it on the table for discussion and see what everyone thinks about it - of course it's up to our Guild Leaders, but I thought I'd present it nontheless

I'd go along with it. But getting this guild together to do anything is problematic at best... not complaining, just stating fact.

Sorry I haven't chimed in until now. If I understand this right, they're looking for whole guilds aren't they? If that's the case then everyone in the guild would have to sign the NDA. We've got a lot of members that only play from time to time. The likelyhood of us getting the word out to all our members, much less getting them all to sign the NDA is pretty slim.

Now, if by chance, some of us make it into the beta anyway by signing up for it individually, maybe whoever makes it in could form an AoV on the beta server. Might be kinda tough since the first rule of being in the beta is, don't talk about being in the beta (kinda like Fight Club). I have heard rumors that people are getting into the beta now after signing up for it on the website (and not going to Fan Faire or being in a raiding guild, etc). How about this. If anyone makes it into beta, join/create a channel called AoVMembers with no password. Then when you're on you can see if anyone else is on also. Just a thought.

I will certainly mention that to anyone in the house, specifically Greg, who might get into Beta at some point, just in case he gets in, so he could go ahead and do something like that. Just in case. You know, if he gets in.
